About Our Volunteer Programs
We are fortunate to have an amazing level of support from members of our community who share in our passion for providing our patients with the best possible experience. Memorial Hermann volunteer opportunities vary from campus to campus, each offering a wide array of unique volunteer assignments based on your experience and interests. Whether they’re welcoming visitors to our hospital, reading a bedtime story to a child or delivering flowers to a patient, volunteers play an important role in the extraordinary care we provide. Our goal is to serve our patients and families all while providing a rich and meaningful experience to our volunteers.
Memorial Hermann does not require COVID-19 vaccination for members of its workforce, including its volunteers. However, we strongly encourage workforce members to stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccination to protect our patients, visitors and colleagues who may be especially vulnerable to COVID-19 and other viruses. Additionally, masking guidelines and other precautionary measures may be implemented to help ensure a safe environment.
