Pediatric Vaccinations

All pediatric patients are required to be up-to-date on all immunizations or scheduled to receive recommended immunizations when visiting Children’s Memorial Hermann Pediatrics practice locations unless there is a medical reason that the child cannot be completely vaccinated.

In accordance with the immunization schedule published by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CSC), the pediatricians of Children’s Memorial Hermann Pediatrics recommend all children receive vaccinations for the safety and wellbeing of each child and the community.

We believe in practicing evidence based medicine and providing high quality health care for the children in our community. Based on all available literature, evidence, and current studies, we believe it is safe and appropriate to administer the vaccines according to the above schedule.
